Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant at NVR, your attention to detail and initiative will help you successfully provide support to homebuyers, contractors, and NVR Homebuilding team members. Your knack for service will make you an all-star.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for the office
Provide information and refer calls and correspondence to other personnel within and outside the company.
Arrange for and coordinate meetings, events, appointments, and travel requirements.
Type a variety of documents at a reasonable speed with a high level of accuracy using word processing and spreadsheet software. Develop, as appropriate, document formats and edit for grammar, punctuation, spelling and numerical accuracy.
Assist other areas of the office in pulling data, building reports, and making phone calls
Maintain files, directories, on-going reports and charts through timely tracking and updating of information. Revise filing and information tracking systems as required.
Maintain schedule and follow-up on meetings, appointments, reports due, and correspondence.
Prepare regular and special reports by assembling and compiling information. Determine explanations for discrepancies. Verify information for accuracy and completeness.
Review and approve for payment all general administrative account invoices (fixed expenses) within allowed budget.
Assure the preparation of all documentation regarding the personnel functions.
Order office supplies as necessary
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional administration experience
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in typing and word processing
Superior oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and requirements
Understanding of the Homebuilding industry is a plus
