Senior Business Analyst
This individual will be responsible for architecting and implementing digital analytics solutions and corresponding data analysis related to all Interactive Marketing websites/initiatives. The candidate must understand the digital marketing space and be able to perform and deliver detailed analysis in this area. The candidate must be able to identify and communicate consumer insights and behavior patterns to a broad set of constituents, including senior management
The candidate must have a strong background in web analytics tools and web tracking implementations/solutions. In addition, the individual should have a working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and principles. The candidate will be responsible for designing web solutions, seeing the solution through to implementation and turning the resulting data into actionable insights, guidance and feedback in order that marketing product owners can better optimize their products/websites.
A blend of strong analytical thinking and an understanding of the technical side of web analytics implementations are required.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include direct management of a team of contractors/consultants, data analysis, research, solution design, vendor management, report/dashboard creation, etc. This position will require significant interaction with corporate marketing teams, marketing agencies, technology vendors and other departments within corporate.
Ability to lead complex, high-profile, cross functional initiatives.
Advanced digital analytics aptitude and experience with cutting edge industry practices (audience clustering, multi-touch digital attribution, tag management, testing and optimization, data driven retargeting, etc).
Equip GVP of Interactive Marketing through ad-hoc and recurring analysis.
Provide insights to product teams on the success of websites, mobile apps, OLA, microsites, marketing campaigns, etc for the purpose of optimizing results.
Gather information and conduct analysis of current and historical data and identify trends/inconsistencies.
Research across multiple sources of data (Adobe, BI platform, database queries, historical, offline, industry, etc) while interfacing with other Marketing teams, departments and vendors directly to understand changes in traffic patterns/consumer behavior.
Manage Adobe web analytics implementations and taxonomy (requirements gathering, solution design, deployments, data classifications, testing and data validation, change management, report creation, etc).
Develop tagging and measurement standards, and KPI's as well as identify gaps and inconsistencies.
Manage intersection of Adobe web analytics and business intelligence platform (requirements gathering, deployments, testing and data validation, change management, report creation, etc).
Guide technology teams in the transfer and modeling of online data into Interactive Marketing data warehouse.
Leverage analytics tools to provide conclusions.
Present results, recommendations and commentaries on trends, positives, and negatives.
Analyze reports based on historical data, web/campaign changes, consumer patterns.
Drive initiatives related to the joining of disparate online and offline data sets.
Work with stakeholders to establish key performance indicators, benchmarks and targets across various websites/projects.
Work closely with several marketing agencies to measure and analyze new initiatives.
Delivery of recurring (daily/wkly/monthly) web scorecards, dashboards, etc.
Work closely with Interactive Marketing team to ensure tracking/reporting requirements are deployed to support analysis efforts.
Requirements:
5 years data analysis and reporting experience.
5 years of digital marketing experience.
Knowledge of the following business analysis methodologies: statistical analysis, segmentation, market research, lifetime value, ROI, competitive analysis, surveys, etc.
Experience measuring the success of various marketing campaigns/strategies: Search Engine Marketing, Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, eCommerce, Electronic Bill Payment, etc.
Deep knowledge of web analytics applications (Adobe experience is highly desired)
Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms is a plus.
Experience with scorecarding/dashboarding.
Understanding of database structure/principles.
Experience working with large raw datasets.
Highly articulate in both oral and written communications, including presentations, with the ability to logically translate and disseminate analytical insights to peers and upper management.
Ability to manage 3rd party vendors and cross functional teams towards common goals.
Skills & Abilities:
MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word- with high proficiency in Excel, including macros, data tables, pivot tables, etc.
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent computer skills and an understanding of website technology and user interface best practices.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
