Senior JavaScript Developer / Analytics Consultant Job Information
Join a fast growing company with a great client list that is seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our Analytics Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of Analytics and Optimization code in multiple customer environments. Work with national and international client accounts to deploy customized analytics solutions and improve the performance of customer websites and applications.
As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will work closely with our project managers and client development groups to create customized behavioral tracking and content optimization solutions. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to ensure the success of projects and reusability of code.
This position requires heavy programming and working with a geographically remote team. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly in various technical and creative environments is critical.
What you will be doing:
Working with analysts and solution designers to understand requirements and develop solutions that accomplish client goals
Finding and solving issues before they impact client websites or the integrity of analytics data
Work independently to manage projects and timelines to ensure on-time delivery and bug-free deployments
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: gather requirements, solution design, javascript development, documentation, testing and Q/A, and deployment
Develop cross-browser/cross-platform JavaScript solutions
Works well with others in a collaborative fashion, open to other ideas and points of view
Be innovative and creative while focusing on solutions rather than road blocks.
Provide a wider view than just digital; have a broader business/technical view / understanding in order to see how digital and online intersect with the broader business/technical context
Be able to quickly parachute into a situation, assess it, evaluate a way forward, make a decision and drive progress. Then delegate to other team members to complete.
Be able to think through a progression of steps / technology to move the business forward while minimizing rework and impact to the business

Required Computer Skills:

years web-based software development experience
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation
Deep understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, AJAX, and Asynchronous Processing
Experience with version control systems such as SVN and/or Git
Strong HTML and CSS experience in cross browser environments
Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as browser network tabs, Firebug, HTTPFox, Charles Proxy
Managing projects to deadlines
Extremely detail-oriented
Independent self-starter with a can do attitude
Experience working directly with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professional composure
