Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices, matching them to purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of data Verify and reconcile invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment status and resolve any payment-related inquiries Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable Conduct periodic reviews and audits of accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and process improvements Requirements:
Experience in Project Billing Software like Deltek Engineering/Professional/Construction/Distribution Industries preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts payables Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements Job Type:
