Director Portfolio Analytics

In this high visibility role the Director will be responsible for delivering data driven insights, thought leadership, and building a culture of learning and growth. There will be daily interaction with management from across the company including product teams, finance, pricing and, credit risk. The Director will influence key portfolio decisions that impact profitability and the strategic course of the organization.Job Description Essential Job Functions Insights & Analysis - As leader of an analytics portfolio team the Director is a trusted advisor to general managers. Working closely with finance, risk and marketing the Director will have responsibility for delivering insights that drive financially sound decision making. A mastery of both internal and external customer shopping and interaction data is required. Collaboration and strong communication with both internal and external business partners is a critical component of this role, as is the ability to story tell with data. Leadership & Development - Along with the COE VP the Director will mentor and develop the portfolio team in credit card analytics, champion / challenger and measurement techniques. Providing thought leadership in customer lifecycle dynamics for early month on book, existing card member and retention strategies is a critical training and learning component. Project Management:
Development of sound project management frameworks, analytic plans, project timelines, are essential component deliverables. Initiate and oversee financially strategic projects that enhance processes and offerings. Prioritize and monitor project progress against goals; tracking budgeted hours. Identify opportunities and gaps that are important for developing best practices that align with EDSA and portfolio management. Reports to:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, and Business or similar Eight or more years of experience in the credit card or financial serves industry performing analytics and forecasting. Adept at navigating a matrixed organizational structure and influencing key stakeholders. Preferred
Experience:
Masters' Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, and Business or similar Ten or more years in the credit card or financial serves industry performing analytics and forecasting. Adept in navigating a matrixed organization structure and influencing key stakeholders.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Business Intelligence & Analytics, Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
