Compliance Officer We are seeking a Compliance Officer with strong healthcare provider experience to implement and maintain the Biofourmis Compliance Program. The Compliance Officer is responsible for the strategy, design and execution of Biofourmis' Compliance Program and reports to the Chief Medical Officer. Responsibilities Directs the corporate compliance program that ensures compliance with Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements Work closely with clinical and operations teams to respond to compliance related questions and provide expert guidance Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with False Claims Act, Anti-kickback and Stark Laws, and other laws and regulations Perform routine compliance monitoring activities by performing or directing internal assessments and audits to ensure companywide compliance with False Claims Act, Anti-kickback, and Stark laws (and other regulations if required) Establish monitoring and auditing systems to identify compliance issues and to evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing compliance efforts, including recommending corrective action as necessary to close any compliance gaps identified, manage and perform periodic risk assessments, mitigations, and remediations Oversee compliance and ethic reporting hotline and investigation process Oversee compliance training and education program for False Claims Act, Anti-kickback, Conflict of Interest, and other laws and regulations for all employees, contractors, and other appropriate third parties on recurrent basis Bachelor's Degree or higher Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, preferred in healthcare system, hospital, or healthcare provider setting Ability to read complex regulations and interpret legal and regulatory requirements One or more professional certifications related to compliance such as CHC, CPEC, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications/Skills Healthcare billing coding experience preferred Experience working with cross-functional global teams spread across time zones
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Legal & RegulatoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
